Congratulations to PELA President, Abner Patton, P.G.

Congratulations to PELA President, Abner Patton, P.G. on his appointment as Co-Chair of IAH Commission on Karst Hydrogeology. Patton will serve alongside two co-chairs, Natasa Ravbar and Junbing Pu, through 2029.

The Karst Commission is a part of The International Association of Hydrogeologists, a charitable membership organization, which promotes sound development and management of groundwater.

A network of academics, practicing hydrogeologists and water resources professionals, the Karst Commission is focused on fostering international collaboration in karst groundwater management. Through promoting defensible science and professional practices, they aim to protect karst water resources for safe drinking water, agriculture and protection of ecosystems.
