Many projects, particularly those funded through grants, require input taken from the affected community. This can be a challenging task, requiring skillful communication and the building of a positive consensus.

Many of PELA’s projects have included such requirements. Our staff has arranged and presented at public community meetings for projects such as:
  • The performance of surveys to assist in the determination of the spread of waterborne illnesses
  • The development of a scenic byway corridor management plan
  • Development of a City-wide land use plan for a large municipality and subsequent district-specific land use plans for the same municipality with input and review by a Task Force Committee
  • Presented to approximately 600 people work tasks related to determination of whether a chemical water contaminant had contaminated local water sources and sickened local residents
Our staff has the requisite ability to assist our municipal clients in attaining the positive outcome their project requires.
